Jetpack Modules: Comments
Jetpack Comments allows visitors to comment on your site using one of their social networking accounts to post a comment instead of creating an entire new account.
Jetpack Comments replaces the default WordPress comment form with a new comment system that has integrated social media login options.
The vast majority of visitors are logged almost constantly into their social media accounts, and with Jetpack comments it is very easy for them to get involved in a discussion rather than quitting simply because they do not want to register yet another account.
To activate Jetpack comments visit Jetpack > Settings > Discussion and click the Activate button next to the Comments module:
Jetpack also adds settings options to the Dashboard > Settings > Discussion screen where you can change the greeting text and you can change the style of the comment box to match your theme:
To leave a comment, just click in the box and start typing:
After a visitor has written a comment, they have several ways to identify themselves using their WordPress.com, Twitter, Google+, or Facebook account. For example:
You can also change the Leave a Reply heading and the color scheme of the Jetpack Comments form the Dashboard > Settings > Discussion screen:
Note: If you have Users must be registered and logged in to comment enabled in Settings > Discussion, you will not be able to use the Jetpack Comment form.
