Create and Manage Mail Accounts in CPanel
In this tutorial we'll show you how to manage your mail accounts in CPanel.
Login your CPanel, click Email section and click Accounts link:
From the dropdown menu of the Domain field select the domain, then enter the mail box name in the Email field:
If you want to set a fixed mailbox quota select the radio button and enter the value in the field.
Keep in mind that if the mail size is too small for a short period of time, this mailbox will overflow and will stop receiving emails.
Therefore, we recommend that you periodically check fixed-quota mailboxes and delete unnecessary letters from both the inbox and the trash.
To save this care, select the Unlimited radio button and click Create Account button.
A strong password is very important to maintain security. We strongly recommend using the built-in password generator to create your passwords:
Do not forget to write down the password in a file.
When the new mail account is registered it will appear in the accounts table below the form. You can manage your account by clicking on the corresponding links:
Change your mail account password (you do not need the old password):
Change mailbox quota:
If you click on Set Up Mail Client link you'll be redirected to a new screen with detailed information how to set up your mail account.
You can use the auto-configure options below to attempt to automatically configure your email application. If the available options are not compatible with your application, you will need to use the Manual Settings information:
If you click on the More link you can suspend completely or partly your mail account functionality and from the bottom link you can access your account in webmail:
Finally, if you want to remove the account you must click Delete link and to confirm the deletion:
